Copyright and DMCA Policy

KICKTEE.COM respects the intellectual property rights of creators and brands. We operate a notice-and-takedown process modeled on the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). The information below explains how to send a copyright complaint (notice) and how to submit a counter notice if you believe content was removed in error. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

Designated Agent

Send all copyright notices and counter notices to:

  • Designated Agent: Copyright Agent, KICKTEE.COM
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Subject line: “DMCA Notice” or “DMCA Counter Notice”

Before you file

  • Confirm that your claim is about copyright (e.g., original artwork, photos, graphics, text). Trademark, privacy, or other issues should be handled separately.
  • Only the rights holder or someone authorized to act for them can file a copyright notice.
  • Knowingly submitting false or misleading claims may have legal consequences.

How to file a copyright complaint (DMCA Notice)

Your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Your full name, title (if applicable), company (if applicable), mailing address, telephone, and email.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed. If multiple works, provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and that you want removed or disabled, including the full URL(s) on kicktee.com and any relevant product or image links.
  4. A statement: “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  5. A statement: “The information in this notice is accurate, and I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.”
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Email the completed notice to [email protected] with the subject “DMCA Notice.” Attach any supporting documentation (e.g., registration certificates, original files, or side-by-side comparisons) if helpful.

What happens next

Step What we do Typical timing
1. Receipt Confirm we received a notice and check whether it appears complete. We aim to review within 1–3 business days.
2. Action Disable access to or remove the identified material when the notice substantially complies with DMCA requirements. Promptly after review.
3. Notify uploader Inform the party who posted the material that it was removed and share the notice (with personal contact details as provided). After takedown.
4. Counter notice window The uploader may send a counter notice if they believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification. As permitted by law.

How to submit a counter notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter notice that includes:

  1. Your full name, mailing address, telephone, and email.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury: “I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”
  4. A statement: “I consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside the U.S., to any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.”
  5. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Email the completed counter notice to [email protected] with the subject “DMCA Counter Notice.”

Restoration of material after a counter notice

If we receive a valid counter notice, we may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after forwarding the counter notice to the original complainant, unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed an action seeking a court order to keep the content down.

Repeat infringement

We may terminate accounts, disable listings, or restrict services for users or partners determined to be repeat infringers. We also consider good-faith, properly documented counter notices when evaluating repeat-infringer status.

Misrepresentation and abuse

Submitting materially false claims or counter claims can carry legal consequences. Use this process only for legitimate copyright issues and provide accurate, complete information.
